Dollar for Dollar Tax Credit
We are thrilled to announce that the Mississippi Department of Revenue now recognizes Mississippi Center for Police and Sheriffs as a qualified charitable organization able to accept donations from both individual and business taxpayers in the State of Mississippi, where the taxpayer gets a DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR ETHO Charitable Donation tax credit of up to 50% of their state tax liability for income tax, personal property tax (ad velorem tax), as well as, business income tax, business property tax, and insurance premium tax.
ETHO - Eligible Transitional Housing Organization
Individual Tax Payers in Mississippi, and those out of state residents paying Mississippi taxes, can donate up to 50% of their income tax liability and 50% of their real property ad valorem tax liability to the Mississippi Center for Police and Sheriffs and receive a DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR tax credit.
Business Tax Payers in Mississippi, and out of state businesses paying Mississippi taxes, can donate up to 50% of their business income tax liability, 50% of their insurance premium and retaliatory tax, and 50% of their ad valorem real property tax liability to the Mississippi Center for Police and Sheriffs and receive a DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR tax credit.
